The Nostalgia Critic is a character played by Doug Walker, a.k.a. ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. The character first appeared in his own title show on YouTube. After his controversial "booting" from YouTube, the character carried on to ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com. The Critic reviews bad movies, but some occasion he reviewed commercials and other stuff. The character is also very familiar to the Nerd, thats why the Critic battled the AVGN himself in some videos (though in real life, Doug and James are friends and was only doing this for the fans). Walker has said that he based the character on the cartoon character Daffy Duck.
